Job Description

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of human resources for our growing and fully-remote remote workforce. Duties will include promoting our corporate values; shaping a positive culture; managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations and retention; HR policy and benefits; performance management; training and development; and talent management. The HR Manager will also be involved in organizational design, our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, and help to ensure compliance with employment and labor laws.


  • HR Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Handle highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way
    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
    • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
    • Nurture a positive working environment
    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
    • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
    • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
    • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management


  • Education, experience, and licensing requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or comparable work experience
    • 3+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
    • Beneficial, but not required: experience in labor and employee relations, experience in a supervisory role, and PHR/SPHR certification
