Job Summary:

As a Technical Training Coordinator you will be responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of our user-facing software platform, applications, and tools to create and present company-wide training materials of varying complexity.

The Technical Training Coordinator will build, maintain, and update intuitive training materials using an informative but concise language that bridges technical gaps between the tools and the users. Training materials will include, but not be limited to: SOP documentation, platform Wikis, serialized instructional videos, troubleshooting and FAQ guides, and virtual Q&A demonstrations. The Technical Training Coordinator’s responsibilities will also include strategizing with department leaders to proactively identify training needs and best practices, as well as organizing and leading internally-facing workshops as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Train employees on relevant company policies, procedures, and processes using an engaging, informative approach
  • Create, maintain, and update a comprehensive range of training materials that adhere to a logical, serialized structure
  • Schedule and lead multiple virtual trainings across several company departments in accordance to the product roadmap
  • Lead virtual walkthroughs, tutorials, Q&As, and other related workshops
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, department leaders, and project managers to strategize the optimal rollout of training workshops, documentation, and videos
  • Track and create reports based on user feedback from multiple departments to identify areas of improvement and for QA expansion
  • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records across several mediums (Wikis, GitLab, Confluence, Lucidchart, Loom, etc.)
  • Research and advocate for new, innovative training methods to consistently engage and educate our users

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as a Technical Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator (or similar role) for a mid-sized company or organization
  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Exceptional verbal communicator with experience leading company-wide virtual presentations, as well as to C-level executives
  • Exceptional writing ability with an emphasis on technical documentation
  • Ability to translate complex technical terminology and concepts into digestible, easy-to-follow instructions
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and Confluence
  • Experience with e-learning platforms is a plus!
